No , This is a Fun Walk

The Fun Walk starts and finishes at the Rosina Sedibane Sports Ground at the Entrance of Laudium Pretoria.

You will be sent an email to confirm your entry. Therefore, you need to ensure that the information that you Submit online is CORRECT.

The Race number collection point is at the Rosina Sedibane Sport Ground from the Saturday 28th May 2016 from 12:00pm - 20:00pm and on Sunday 29th May 2016 from 7:30am- 08:30am

You can ask a friend to pick up your walk entry number at collection. Please provide them with the Entry Confirmation which was emailed to you and proof of payment.

For the 7km walk , there is no license needed to enter , but Fun Walk Tag must be worn on the Front.

There will be sweep vehicles patrolling the route, You may flag one of the sweep vehicles down to pick you up, they will take you back to the start point

To comply with Athletics Gauteng regulators, there will be a water point at approximately every 2km on the route. Water will be freely available to all Fun Walkers.

Yes, there will be public toilets availble at the Rosina Sedibane Sports Ground Which is also the start and finish points of the walk.

This year it is not only a Fun-Walk but promises to be a fun filled early morning event with lots of activities and entertainment for the whole family..

Unfortunately no umbrellas or gazebo’s are permitted due to the limitation of space within the venue.

Yes, parking will be available opposite the Rosina Sedibane sport grounds .

Unfortunately no dogs or pets of any kind are allowed at the event

Yes, you are permitted to bring strollers / prams to the 7km Fun Walk and event

Yes , Wheel Chairs are permitted at the 7km Fun Walk and event

You must wear your 2016 Walk Entry number tag issued on the front your of T-shirt.

There is No Age restriction on the 7km route, however minors must be accompanied by adults at all times.

Prize giving will take place around 12:00pm after for the 7km Fun Walk. On the 29th May 2016

The organisers reserve the right to cancel the event WITHOUT refund, in the event of extreme weather conditions or other circumstances that the organisers deem not safe for participants.

No refunds will be paid out under any circumstances as all monies raised is to purchase Blankets and Eliminate Hunger

There will be a sweep vehicle that will assist back-trackers. you will be picked up by a sweep vehicle. These measures are put in place for safety reasons.
